This past weekend was one of those weekdays kind of feeling. Schedule to shoot an evening assignment and following day. Opening for the Gregg Museum of Art and Design at NCSU, they were hosting this fund rasing event for the private parties.

Surfer's Point - Ventura, California

mood: groggygroggy

By going through some of my old photos, I noticed that there are so many photographs I have forgotten about and lefted into my "Photo Organizing Box" where they may never even see any lights again. Parhaps, I can use LJ to share those images...

The picture below is his first time visit to California, and he wanted to see the beautiful sunset in Ventura, California.

Summer Night

By looking at the calender, month of August is almost over... Older I get, time goes by faster and faster. Sometime I feel like I am on the roller-coaster where I can stop until it comes to the complete stop somewhere head of us.

I have finally put my act together and decided to put some pictures up in my scrapBook area. So, enjoy those!

Photography

mood: blahblah

I was talking to someone about how everyone loves to get those new, sophisticated equipment in order to shoot some great photograph.

No... Great photograph comes from the great observation from every perspectives. Fast lens does help, but what it comes down to is how do you see things through your view-finder.

For example, I used to ran into some photographer from the Reuters who used to used one of the most beat up and looked like decommission gears. However, his pictures were nothing like you can imagine, one of the greatest photos I had seen in my early days photography career. None of the local photographers had anything like what he had in his frame.

A Book From Japan

Mar. 1st, 2006 | 05:29 pm
mood: tiredtired
music: REM

As I wait for my package from the shipping company for my show (which starts in couple days) I found a package from Japan on the dinnig table. Ripps that package like the kid on the Christmas morning for their present. A book...? Obviously, my sister in Tokyo(she is 7 years living head of my life) is trying to alart me something...

When I started reading through, I have realized it is like my life story, just like someone making a copy through the machine. Wow. My story is that I am getting older because those little hard covered Japanese written book does bring me some blury vision...
